Sitting at the station, Paddington old London town
Waiting’ for my train in the diesel air in the underground
I’m far away from home far away from what I know
My heart in the clouds and my head in it’s shadow
But it’s not sinking in, I’ve got my mind on other things
I’ve got a new found love, and its all i’m thinking of
Now i’m busking in the square at down town Grand Place Lil
Playing my songs by the fountain of both wisdom and youth
Theres a man on a djembe banging out the rhythms of his soul
I should be dancing on the spot, spinning round in awe of it all
But it’s not sinking in, I’ve got my mind on other things
I’ve got a new found love, and its all i’m thinking of
I just wanna get started, started.
I just wanna get started, started.
Now I’m walking in slow motion
Trying to make sense of it all
Should my body be here with my mind on the absentee role
It’s like i’ve been given a gift that I can’t yet open
Now I'm chompin’ at the bit to start this new phase that I've chosen

Too Hard On Your Own
04:07
|
|||
You’re driving that dark road on your own
You're taking no free rides from anyone you know
You’re lookin’ through closed eyes and it seems so hard
There are so many who love you that’ll open arms
You’re broken in your heart you need a little a love to lighten up the dark
Its too hard on your own let me take your hand and help you get back home
I can offer my hand help you stand
I’m no expert but I can understand
Don’t keep it locked up you got share it up
There are so many who love you that’ll turn your luck
You’re broken in your heart you need a little a love to lighten up the dark
Its too hard on your own let me take your hand and help you get back home

Good Times
04:57
|
|||
Heaven has arrived and I'm still alive
You an can do no wrong on this road we’re travelling on
There is so much light on what used to be night
and the sky has opened up and its re-fuelin’ my cup
Time slips on by like it s going out of style
And i remember when i was kicking against the wind
Now it all seems that theres fruit bared from our seeds
And it times such as this that you pass on to ya kids
So sing, singin’ up the good times
I’m gonna dig up all the love I can find
So sing, singin’ up the good times come on and catch my cry
So what do ya do, when you've too much gratitude
How can you thank someone who is everywhere at once
I was once told by a loving soul
All you do is sing just be doing your god given thing
Now that your clean and you landed on your feet
You can now guide all ya power to make things right
Distractions are gone now the light is shining on
So follow your heart plan don’t be selling out to the man

Tapachula Streets
05:17
|
|||
Out on these warm southern streets theres a constant cold wind
And it cuts straight through every home and loveless child
With dreams in his tears and tears in his dreams at night
He makes his bed on a bench of concrete
Five flights high above the Tapachula Streets
Eight years old the only comfort every known was to get high
With brothers in arms the daily challenge was just to survive
With no family no care this young heart never felt love
But theres a guiding hand reaching out for these young shoulders
A mum and dad we never had from down under
They left six of their own back home such a sacrifice
And where all else was gone they shone a new light
And they taught us to ride
There’s a dreamy ocean break next to a city thats in despair
With boards underneath they liberate to laughing local stare
Destined for the gangs before the beacon of Mission Mexico
They're the only ones that showed us what we could not see
Now were riding high above the Tapachula Streets
They left six of their own back home such a sacrifice
And where all else was gone they shone a new light
And they taught us to ride

Holding On
05:06
|
|||
I'm reaching out to you but you wont take my hand
you answer my call maybe you think i wont understand
When I saw you last you weren’t there
Just a ghost of the person i know
Surface level talk matter of fact chat
You're heart song was too soft and low
Well you can’t keep walking with that load you're hauling
You’re Holding On
You’re Holding On
Underneath the world feeling the weight
Refluxing pain like a night on the town
Well I've heard you sing and now you're feeling the sting
Of the doubt devil talking too loud
You can’t make flames with those ash remains
You’re Holding On
You’re Holding On
Oh old friend let go of you're secrets
Brother you dont want no regrets
Don’t be hiding your fire
Let it burn, let it burn, let it burn.
You’re Holding On
You’re Holding On

Jacqui's Song
04:46
|
|||
Shed a tear for our Jac, for she’s not coming back
She left her clothes on the line, when all she needs is her mind
She will drift in the breeze, take her to someone who’s calling
I remember the last I saw, she cut the fat to bare my raw
Don’t give up my brother boy, don’t let fear soil joy
DOn;t let me down, with eyes that spoke she said I'm not sticking round
She laid down, too soon
She lied down too soon
So run now run now boy, hold the flag that taught you how
Speak now whats in your hands, make a difference where you can
I’ll help you over the stumbling block, in fact I’ll blow the fucker up
No one ever gets knocked back, if their heart is touched by our Aunty Jac
She laid down, too soon
She laid down too soon
She laid down, too soon
She laid down too soon
She had the fire to burn the devil
She had the love too heal from evil
She sung us all our meanings
Her airs now stand

Sometime Soon
03:25
|
|||
I feel it in my throat
I see it with my eyes
I read it in the news
Things just aren’t the same today
She’s crying out for love
Falling deaf on all of us
Go on your daily grind
Things go on the same each day
Sometime soon
Sometime soon
Sometime soon she could go any time
So why the hesitation
Don’t wait for legislation
She brewing consequence
We sit up on the fence
So many in neglect
It takes a tragedy to understand the need
This is not a game today
Sometime soon
Sometime soon
Sometime soon she could go any time
We’re taking long too little too soon
We’re breaking all her rules cutting it fine
Sometime soon
Sometime soon
Sometime soon she could go any time

Rest of My Days
04:10
|
|||
Ah remember my dear the banks of the Mary River
The stars in your eyes that night shone like silver
You and I danced to the rhythms of the Northern Territory
And I treasure those moments like a childhood memory
Theres a tap root down this connection runs deep
Oh ready or not there’s a fever that taking over me
I’ve got you for the rest of my days
I’ve got you for the rest of my days
Indian swells blue water onto pearl white sand
Tall Karris and cave’s populate this dry land
Feelings of reverence deepen with history
And i treasure this place since childhood memory
Theres a tap root down this connection runs deep
Oh ready or not there’s a fever that taking over me
I’ve got you for the rest of my days
I’ve got you for the rest of my days
I’m gonna make it right come what may

Gaia's Pledge
06:49
|
|||
I hope that one day my children can see what I can see
I hope they soak up the pleasures and all of the beauty
But i fear for them and this world that we unfold
Unraveling the paper that bounds Gaia’s gold
For she is fragile yet strong enough to wipe us clean
Yeah we are en-mass unaware careless and naive
We are just a grain of sand on the deserts of time
At this rate our grandchildren won’t see the sunrise
Theres so much at stake
Oh god please don’t make her break
Too busy making excuses and being reclusive
To Gaia’s Pledge
Too busy making excuses and being reclusive
to Gaia’s Pledge
Will you go on thinking that we will be alright
Wil you go on thing you're part to ply wont shade the light
Someone else will fix it, someone else will find a way
If we keep on consuming they’ll never change before too late
Theres so much at stake
oh god please don’t make her break
Too busy making excuses and being reclusive
To Gaia’s Pledge
Too busy making excuses and being reclusive
to Gaia’s Pledge

The Hand That Feeds
04:29
|
|||
I am the sun shining bright I’ve been here since the dawn of light
You silly things burning coal for steam I give to you and I give for free
I am the tree in a forrest green strong and tall as tall can be
I give the air and wood to build with but you take more than I can give
Oh mother, mother of life please except our thanks sorry it took us a while
Oh mother, mother who bleeds, I hope your wounds heal soon
You’re the hand that feeds
I am the ocean deep and blue come for a swim i’ll make you feel brand new
I house creatures both great and small but you're not welcome if you take them all
I am the earth wise and old, I give the sand and rocks you're standing on
I’ve seen changes and I’ve weathered storms, it looks like you're starting another one
Oh mother, mother of life please except our thanks sorry it took us a while
Oh mother, mother who bleeds, I hope your wounds heal soon
You’re the hand that feeds
I am you, I’m your unborn child, I am your spirit, I am all things wild
I say to you when you're in the ground, I’ll be picking up what you put down
Oh mother, mother of life please except our thanks sorry it took us a while
Oh mother, mother who bleeds, I hope your wounds heal soon
You’re the hand that feeds

Everywhere at Once
05:31
|
|||
Tomorrow morning I’m gonna wake up late
I’m gonna dream about the week just gone
I’m gonna shed my weary skin
Refresh this well I’ve been drinking from
My eyes are raw from altitude
The air so dry like my patience
Airports and Melbourne traffic I find it rude
Over me campfire and I’ll take it
Now I’m here it feels just like the warmth of a womb
Wrap me up like a blanket, my land my home
How would it feel, to be diluted by this ocean?
How would it feel, to be humbled by this landscape?
How would it feel, if I was everywhere at once?
What if all was connected to me
What if all was is as it should be
What if what I have is all I need
Not enough is too much greed
Now I’m here it feels just like the warmth of a womb
Wrap me up like a blanket, my land my home
How would it feel, to be diluted by this ocean?
How would it feel, to be humbled by this landscape?
How would it feel, if I was everywhere at once?
